Troubleshooting

Symptoms Remedy
If the cooling fan does not operate under normal operating conditions • Check the connector
• Check the battery voltage (#1).
Check the fuse if voltage is not supplied.
• Check the wiring in the engine compartment for a short circuit.
If the cooling fan operates excessively under non-operating conditions Check the SI terminal for short circuits (connectors, wires).

? Measure the SI signal waveform with the PWM connected so that ON/OFF signals can be determined.
