Description

  1. Power Latch Locking Flow
    A. When the liftgate is open, it closes and the striker is locked.
    B. CLAW rotates (1st stage closing).
    C. When 1st stage closing is detected, the tightening cable starts to rotate.
    D. Clamping lever starts to operate.
    E. CLAW rotates to operate the clamping lever. (2nd stage closing)
    F. Liftgate is fully closed.
  2. Power Latch Unlocking Process (1) The principle of the PTM unlocking process is the same as that of a conventional liftgate latch. (2) The unlocking process is completed by using the motor in the power latch.
