Inspection

  1. Remove the emergency pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Emergency Pad Lower Panel")
  2. Check the continuity between terminals (A) of the liftgate switch.

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the emergency pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Emergency Pad Lower Panel")
  3. Remove the hazard switch lower panel (A) after releasing the clip.
    Wear gloves to protect your hands from injury.

Installation

  1. Install the side cover switch assembly.
  2. Install the emergency pad lower panel.
  3. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
