Inspection

  1. Remove the liftgate internal switch.
  2. Check the continuity between the terminals of the liftgate internal switch.

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the left liftgate trim after opening the liftgate. (Refer to Body – "Liftgate Trim")
  3. Remove the liftgate internal switch (A) after disconnecting the connector.

Installation

  1. Install the liftgate internal switch after connecting the connector and mounting bolts.
  2. Install the liftgate trim.
  3. After connecting the negative (-) battery terminal, verify that the power liftgate module operates normally.
