Adjustment

Inspect the window guide channel for damage or wear, and replace it if necessary.

   Remove the front door trim. (Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Trim")

   Separate the installation plug hole (A) from the front door module.

   After loosening the glass mounting bolts, adjust the glass gap (B) by moving the glass side to side, then tighten the bolts.

   Check that the window operates normally.

   Remove the front latch cover (A).

   After loosening the mounting screw, adjust the latch (A) by moving it forward and backward or side to side, then tighten the bolts (B).

   Tightening Torque: (B): 16.7 ~ 22 N·m

   Tap the striker with a plastic hammer to adjust it. The striker will not move much, but will allow some adjustment.

   While holding the outside handle, press the door against the body to make sure the striker allows flush seating. If the door latches correctly, tighten the screws and recheck.

After installing the door, make sure the body is flush with and parallel to all edges of the front door. Make sure the door and body edges are parallel. Replace the mounting bolts before adjusting.

   Before adjusting the doors, park the vehicle on a level surface.

   Adjust the hinges (A):

   A.	Slightly loosen the door mounting bolts and move the door inward or outward until it is flush with the body.

   B.	Slightly loosen the hinge mounting bolts and move the door forward or backward, up or down, to align the gaps.

   C.	Place a shop towel on the jack to avoid damaging the door during adjustment.

   Tightening torque: (B): 21.6 ~ 26 N·m (C): 37.3 ~ 41 N·m

   Lubricate the moving parts of the specified hinges.

   Check for water leaks.
