Front Door Module Repair Procedures

Replacement

   Remove the front door window glass. (Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Window Glass")

   Remove the front door outside handle. (Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Outside Handle")

   Loosen the front door outside handle base mounting bolt (A).

   Disconnect the outside rear view mirror connector (A).

   Loosen the front door module mounting bolts and latch (A). Mounting screws. After loosening the lower channel screw (B) as far as possible, remove the front door module (C). Tightening torque: (A): 6.9 ~ 10.8 N·m (B): 3.9 ~ 5.9 N·m (C): 7.8 ~ 11.8 N·m

   Disconnect the connectors (A) and the front door module wiring harness.

   Remove the front door lock assembly. (Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Latch")

   Remove the front speaker. (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Speakers")

   Remove the front power window motor. (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Power Window Motor")
10. 10
    Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Check that the connectors are connected correctly and that each rod is securely connected. Check that the door locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.
