Seat Belt Warning (if equipped)

Type A
As a reminder to the driver, the seat belt warning light flashes for about 6 seconds each time the ignition switch is turned to ON, regardless of whether the belt is fastened or not.
If the driver's seat belt is not fastened after the ignition switch is turned to ON, the warning light flashes again for about 6 seconds.
If the seat belt is not fastened when the ignition switch is ON, or is unfastened after it has been turned ON, the warning signal sounds for about 6 seconds.
At this point, if the seat belt is fastened, the signal will stop immediately (if equipped).
Type B
As a reminder for the driver, the seat belt warning light flashes for about 6 seconds each time the ignition switch is turned to ON. If the driver does not fasten the seat belt when the ignition switch is turned to ON, or if the driver unfastens the belt after the ignition has been switched to ON, the warning light stays on until the seat belt is fastened.
If the vehicle is driven beyond 9 km/h with the driver's seat belt unfastened (but if the seat belt was fastened before and the 100-second chime has never been completed), the seat belt warning light will flash and the buzzer will sound for 100 seconds.
If the vehicle is driven beyond 9 km/h with the driver's seat belt unfastened (but if the seat belt has never been fastened or the 100-second chime has been completed even though the belt was fastened before), the seat belt warning light will flash AND then the seat belt warning buzzer will sound for 100 seconds if the vehicle is driven beyond 20 km/h (but if the 100-second chime has never been completed).
If the driver's seat belt is unfastened while the vehicle is traveling above 9 km/h, the warning light flashes and the warning buzzer sounds for 100 seconds.
If the driver's seat belt is fastened while its warning buzzer is sounding, the buzzer will stop immediately.
