Headlight Levelling Device (if equipped)

~1min read

Manual type

To adjust the headlight beam height according to the number of passengers and the load weight in the luggage compartment, turn the levelling switch.

The higher the switch position number, the lower the headlight beam level. Always keep the beam at the appropriate level, otherwise it may dazzle other drivers.

Examples of appropriate settings for this switch are listed below.

For load conditions other than those listed, adjust the switch position so that the headlight height is as close as possible to the condition obtained from the list.

Daytime Running Lights (DRL) (if equipped)

Daytime running lights make it easier for other drivers to see the front of the vehicle during the day. They can be useful in many driving conditions, especially after sunrise and before sunset.

The DRL system turns off the dedicated lamp when:

- The headlight (low beam) switch is on.

- The engine is off. - The fog lights switch is turned to ON.
