Engine temperature gauge (if equipped)

This gauge shows the engine coolant temperature when the ignition is in the ON position.

Do not continue driving when the engine is overheated. If the vehicle overheats, refer to "If the Engine Overheats" in section 6.

NOTICE If the needle moves beyond the normal operating range toward the "H (or 130C/260F)" position, the engine is overheating, which may cause engine damage. WARNING Never remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot. The coolant is under pressure and can cause serious burns. Wait for the engine to cool down before adding coolant.
