This warning light alerts the driver that the road may be icy.

When the following condition occurs, the warning light (including the outside temperature display) flashes 10 times and then stays on, and the buzzer also sounds 3 times.

- The outside temperature reading is below approximately 4C (39.2F).

- The ignition switch or the engine start/stop button is ON.

NOTE

If the icy road warning light comes on while driving, drive with extra care. Avoid excessive speed, rapid acceleration, sudden braking or sharp steering, etc.
