Avoid driving in flooded areas unless you are sure the water level does not exceed the base of the wheel hub.

Drive slowly when crossing a flooded area. Keep a sufficient braking distance, as brake effectiveness may be reduced. After crossing a flooded area, dry the brakes by pressing the brake pedal gently several times while driving slowly.
