Fuel Line Repair Procedures

DEPOSIT

   Release the residual pressure in the fuel line. (Refer to Fuel System - "Fuel Line Residual Pressure Release".)

   Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, then disconnect the (-) battery cable.

   Remove the fuel tank. (Refer to Fuel System - "Fuel Tank".)

   Disconnect the quick-connector (A) from the fuel feed tube and the evaporation hose (B).

   Raise the vehicle.

   Remove the lower cover G (A).

   Loosen the fuel line lower bracket mounting nut (A). Fuel line flange mounting nut: 3.9 ~ 5.9 N·m

   Disconnect the fuel feed tube (A) and vent tube (B) using a flat-blade screwdriver.

   Open the cover (A).

    Remove the fuel hose (A) from the vehicle.

    

    

REMEDY

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Fuel supply pipe nut (to fuel supply pipe): 3.9 ~ 5.9 N·m
