1. Reduce vehicle speed to less than 5 km/h.

2. Shift into neutral (N).

3. Release the clutch pedal.

The engine stops and the green AUTO STOP indicator () illuminates on the instrument cluster.

In addition, the message "Auto Stop" appears on the LCD screen.

You must reach a minimum speed of 10 km/h after the last idle stop.

If you unfasten the seat belt or open the driver's door (or engine hood) while in Auto Stop mode, the following may occur:

• The ISG system will turn off (the OFF indicator illuminates on the instrument panel). The ISG will turn back on.

• The message "Auto Stop Deactivated Start Manually" is displayed on the LCD screen.
