Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the engine undercover. (Refer to Engine and Transaxle Assembly - "Engine Undercover")
  2. Remove the drive belt. (Refer to Valve Timing System - "Drive Belt")
  3. Remove the automatic tensioner (A) from the drive belt.

    Tightening torque: 42.2 – 54 N·m

  4. Remove the automatic drive belt tensioner bracket (A).

    Torque: 19.6 ~ 26 N·m

  5. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
