Automatic Defogging System

The automatic anti-fog system reduces the likelihood of fogging on the inside of the windshield by automatically detecting the humidity inside the windshield.
The automatic anti-fog system operates when the heater or air conditioner is on.

When the automatic anti-fog system is operating, the indicator illuminates.
If high humidity is detected in the vehicle, the automatic defogging system will operate in the following sequence:
Step 1: Outside air position
Step 2: Air conditioning operation
Step 3: Air flow to the windshield
Step 4: Increase air flow to the windshield
If the air conditioner is turned off or the recirculation position is selected manually while the automatic defogging system is on, the automatic defogging system indicator will flash 3 times to signal that manual control has been canceled.
To cancel or reset the automatic anti-fog system
Press and hold the front windshield defroster button for 3 seconds when the engine start/stop button is in the ON position. When the automatic anti-fog system is turned off, the ADS OFF symbol will flash 3 times, and ADS OFF will be displayed on the climate control information screen.
When the automatic anti-fog system is reset, the ADS OFF symbol will flash 6 times without a signal.
Information
- When the air conditioner is turned on by the automatic anti-fog system, if you try to turn off the air conditioner, the indicator flashes 3 times and the air conditioner does not turn off.
- For improved efficiency, do not select recirculation mode while the Auto anti-fog system is operating.
- When the automatic anti-fog mode is selected, the fan speed, temperature and air intake mode set manually are cancelled for the best defogging result.
NOTICE
