Outside Windshield Defrosting

Hyundai Ioniq. To Defrost Outside Windshield, Defogging Logic

1. Set the fan speed to the highest (far right) position.

2. Set the temperature to maximum (HI).

3. Press the defogger button (Hyundai Ioniq. To Defrost Outside Windshield, Defogging Logic ).

4. The fresh air position will be selected automatically.

IfHyundai Ioniq. To Defrost Outside Windshield, Defogging Logicposition is selected, the lower fan speed is adjusted to a higher fan speed.

Defogging Logic

To reduce the possibility of fogging on the inside of the windshield, the air intake or air conditioning is controlled automatically according to certain conditions such asHyundai Ioniq. To Defrost Outside Windshield, Defogging LogicorHyundai Ioniq. To Defrost Outside Windshield, Defogging Logicpositions. To cancel or return the anti-fog logic, do the following.

1. Turn the engine start/stop button to the ON position.

2. Press the defroster button (Hyundai Ioniq. To Defrost Outside Windshield, Defogging Logic ).

3. While holding down the air conditioner (A/C) button, press the air intake control button at least 5 times within 3 seconds.

The indicator on the air intake control button will flash 3 times. This indicates that the anti-fog logic is canceled or returned to the programmed state.

If the battery has been discharged or disconnected, the system resets to the default anti-fog logic state.
