Odometer

The odometer shows the total distance the vehicle has traveled and should be used to determine when periodic maintenance is due.
Range

- The driving range is the estimated distance the vehicle can travel with the remaining fuel.
- If the estimated distance is less than 1 mile (1 km), the trip computer displays "----" as the driving range.
- The driving range for the Type B cluster is displayed differently depending on the selected ECO or SPORT mode. If the shift lever is in the S (Sport) position, SPORT mode is selected. If the shift lever is in the D (Drive) position, ECO mode is selected.
- The driving range for the Type A cluster is described in the "Trip Computer" section of this chapter.
Information
- If the vehicle is not on level ground or the battery power has been interrupted, the range function may not operate correctly.
- The range may differ from the actual driving distance, as it is an estimate of the available driving distance.
- The trip computer may not register additional fuel if less than 1.6 gal. (6 liters) of fuel is added to the vehicle.
- The driving range may vary significantly depending on driving conditions, habits, and vehicle condition.
