Driving Range / Average Fuel Economy / Instant Fuel Economy

Range (1)

• The driving range is the estimated distance the vehicle can travel with the remaining fuel.
• If the estimated distance is less than 1 mile (1 km), the trip computer displays "----" as the driving range.

Information

• If the vehicle is not on level ground or the battery power has been interrupted, the range function may not operate correctly.
• The range may differ from the actual driving distance, as it is an estimate of the available driving distance.
• The trip computer may not register additional fuel if less than 1.6 gal. (6 liters) of fuel is added to the vehicle.
• Fuel economy and range may vary significantly depending on driving conditions, driving style and vehicle condition.

Average Fuel Economy (2)

• Average fuel economy is calculated from the total distance driven and fuel consumed since the last average fuel economy reset.
• The average fuel economy can be reset either manually or automatically.

Manual Reset

To reset the average fuel economy manually, press and hold the OK button on the steering wheel for more than 1 second while the average fuel economy is displayed.

Automatic Reset

To automatically reset the average fuel economy, select "After Ignition ON" or "After Refuel" in the user settings mode on the LCD display.

- After Ignition ON: when the vehicle has been off for 4 hours or longer, the average fuel economy will be reset automatically.
- After Refuel: the average fuel economy is reset automatically after 1.6 gal. (6 liters) or more of fuel is added and after the vehicle speed exceeds 1 mph (1 km/h).

Information

The vehicle must travel at least 0.19 miles (300 meters) since the last ignition cycle before the average fuel economy is recalculated.

Instant Fuel Economy (3)

• This mode displays the instant fuel economy while driving.
