Climate Control Air Filter

This filter is located behind the glove box. It filters dust and other contaminants that enter the vehicle through the heating and air conditioning system.

Have the air conditioning filter replaced by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer according to the maintenance schedule. If the vehicle is driven in severe conditions, such as dusty or rough roads, more frequent inspections and replacement of the air conditioning filter are required.

If the airflow suddenly decreases, have the system inspected at an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

Inspecting the Air Conditioner Refrigerant and Compressor Lubricant

When the refrigerant level is low, air conditioning performance is reduced. Overcharging also reduces air conditioning system performance.

Therefore, if abnormal operation is detected, the system must be inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

NOTICE

It is important that the correct type and amount of oil and refrigerant are used. Otherwise, the compressor may be damaged and the system may operate abnormally.

Since the refrigerant is under very high pressure, the air conditioning system must be serviced only by trained and certified technicians. It is important that the correct type and amount of oil and refrigerant are used; otherwise, damage to the vehicle and personal injury may result.

The air conditioning system must be serviced by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
