WARNING
If the 4WD indicator light (
) remains illuminated on the instrument cluster, the 4WD system in your vehicle may be malfunctioning. When the 4WD indicator light (
) illuminates, we recommend having the vehicle inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer as soon as possible.
CAUTION
When driving on normal roads, deactivate 4WD LOCK mode by pressing the 4WD LOCK button (4WD LOCK indicator light turns off). Driving on normal roads with 4WD LOCK mode engaged, especially when turning, may cause mechanical noise or vibration. The noise and vibration will disappear when 4WD LOCK mode is deactivated. Continuing to drive with noise and vibration may damage some powertrain components.
NOTICE
When 4WD LOCK mode is deactivated, the driving feel may be as if all power is transmitted to the front wheels.
