Changing the LKA System Function

~1min read

The driver can change LKA to Lane Departure Warning (LDW) or change the LKA mode between Standard LKA and Active LKA on the LCD display. Go to "User Settings", "Driver Assistance", "Lane Keeping Assist", "Warning/Standard LKA/Active LKA".

The system is automatically set to Standard LKA if the function is not selected.

The LDW system warns the driver with a visual warning and an audible alert when the system detects the vehicle leaving the driving lane. The steering wheel will not be controlled.

Standard LKA

The standard LKA mode helps the driver keep the vehicle within the driving lane. It rarely controls the steering wheel when the vehicle is traveling well within the lane. However, it begins to control the steering wheel when the vehicle is about to drift off course, such as on narrow lanes.

Active LKA

Active LKA mode provides more frequent steering wheel control compared to the standard LKA mode. Active LKA can reduce driver fatigue by assisting steering to keep the vehicle in the center of the lane.
