RCCW (Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning)
The Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning function monitors approaching traffic from the left and right sides of the vehicle when the vehicle is moving in reverse.
Operating Conditions
To operate:
Go to "User Settings," "Driver Assistance," and select "Rear Collision Warning" on the LCD display.
The system will turn on and stand by for activation. If you turn off this function in the cluster, the system will stop.
For more details, refer to "User Settings Mode" in chapter 3.
Information
If the vehicle is turned off and then turned on again, the BCW system returns to its previous state.
The system is activated when the vehicle speed is below 10 km/h and the shift lever is in the R (Reverse) position.
The detection range of the Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning is approximately 0.5 m ~ 20 m (1 ft ~ 65 ft) toward both sides of the vehicle. An approaching vehicle will be detected if its speed does not exceed 4 km/h ~ 36 km/h.
Note that the detection range may vary under certain conditions. As always, use caution and pay close attention to your surroundings when driving in reverse.
