Climate Control Air Filter

Filter Inspection

The climate control air filter must be replaced according to the Maintenance Schedule. If the vehicle is operated in heavily polluted city air or on dusty unpaved roads for an extended period, and/or when transporting pets or when occupants smoke inside the vehicle, it should be inspected more often and replaced earlier. Replace the climate control air filter following the procedure below and be careful not to damage other components.

1. With the glove box open, remove the stoppers from both sides to allow the glove box to hang freely on its hinges.

2. Remove the support rod (1).

3. Remove the climate control air filter housing cover by pressing the lock on the right side of the cover.

4. Replace the cabin air filter.

5. Reassemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

NOTICE

Install the new climate control air filter in the correct direction with the arrow symbol (↓) pointing down to prevent noise and reduced efficiency.
