Electrochromic Mirror (ECM)

Some vehicles are equipped with an electrochromic mirror, which helps control glare when driving at night or in low-light conditions.

When the engine is running, glare is automatically controlled by a sensor installed at the rear of the mirror. The sensor detects the light level around the vehicle and automatically adjusts to control glare from the headlights of vehicles behind you.

Whenever the shift lever is in R (Reverse), the mirror automatically switches to its brightest setting to improve the driver's view behind the vehicle.

NOTICE

When cleaning the mirror, use a paper towel or similar material moistened with glass cleaner. Do not spray glass cleaner directly onto the mirror, as liquid may enter the mirror housing.
