Lost Smart Key

No more than two smart keys can be registered to one vehicle. If you lose your smart key, bring the vehicle and remaining keys to your authorized HYUNDAI dealer or vehicle towing service as soon as possible, if necessary.

Smart Key Precautions

The Smart Key may not work if any of the following occurs:

• The Smart Key is near a radio transmitter, such as a radio station or airport, which may interfere with normal operation of the transmitter.
• The Smart Key is near a mobile two-way radio system or a cellular phone.
• The smart key of another vehicle may operate near your vehicle. If the smart key does not operate properly, lock and unlock the door with the mechanical key. If you have a problem with the smart key, contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

If the smart key is in close proximity to a mobile phone, the signal may be blocked by the normal operating signals of the mobile phone. This is especially likely when the phone is active, for example making and receiving calls, text messages, and/or sending/receiving e-mails. Where possible, avoid keeping the remote key and your mobile phone in the same place, such as trouser or jacket pockets, to avoid interference between the two devices.

NOTICE

Keep the smart key away from electromagnetic materials, which block electromagnetic waves on the key surface.

NOTICE

Always take the smart key with you when you leave the vehicle. If the smart key is left near the vehicle, the vehicle battery may discharge.
