Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the rear door trim panel. (Refer to Body - "Rear Door Trim")
  3. Disconnect the power liftgate latch connector and the PCU connector (A).

  4. Remove the power liftgate latch and PCU (A) after loosening the mounting nuts and bolts.

Installation

  1. Install the power liftgate latch and PCU.
  2. Install the liftgate trim.
  3. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Inspection of the Power Liftgate Latch. Refer to Power Liftgate System - Troubleshooting.
