REMEDY

Installation is the reverse of removal. Follow these steps:
  • Adjust the shift cable.
  • Adjust the accelerator cable.
  • Fill the engine with engine oil.
  • Fill the transaxle with fluid.
  • Fill the radiator and reserve tank with engine coolant.
  • Turn the heater control knob to the "HOT" position.
  • Bleed air from the cooling system.
  • Start the engine and let it run until warm (until the radiator fan has operated 3 or 4 times).
  • Turn off the engine. Check the coolant level in the radiator and add coolant if necessary. This removes air trapped in the cooling system.
  • Slightly loosen the radiator cap and restart the engine. Run the engine and check for leaks.
  • Clean the battery terminals and cable clamps with sandpaper, connect them, and apply grease to prevent corrosion.
  • Check for fuel leaks.
  • After assembling the fuel line, turn the ignition on (do not crank the starter) so that the fuel pump operates for about two seconds, pressurizing the fuel line.
  • Repeat this procedure two or three times and check that there are no fuel leaks in the fuel line.
