DEPOSIT

  1. Remove the fuel pump. (Refer to Fuel System - "Fuel Pump".)
  2. Disconnect the fuel level sensor wiring connector (A) and the electric pump wiring connector (B).
  3. Remove the retaining bracket (A), then disconnect the supply hose (B).
  4. Remove the main assembly (C) by releasing the retaining clip and cushion (D).
  5. Remove the tank cover as soon as the retaining hooks (A) are released.
  6. Remove the fuel pressure regulator clamp (A).
  7. Remove the fuel pressure regulator (B) from the fuel filter.
  8. Remove the pre-filter (B) after releasing the retaining hooks (C).
  9. Remove the fuel pump motor (C) from the fuel filter (D) by pushing it downward.

REMEDY

  1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
