DEPOSIT

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Release the residual pressure in the fuel line. (Refer to Fuel System - Repair Procedures - "Residual Pressure Release in Fuel Line")
  3. Remove the intake manifold. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Intake Manifold")
  4. Remove the injector insulator (A).
  5. Disconnect the injector connectors (A) and the rail pressure sensor connector (B).
  6. Remove the high-pressure fuel pipe (C).
  7. Remove the mounting bolt (D), then remove the feed pipe and engine injector assembly.

REMEDY

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Fuel pipe bolt: 18.6~24 N·m High-pressure fuel pipe nut: 26.5~32 N·m
