DEPOSIT

  1. Release the residual pressure in the fuel line. (Refer to Fuel System - Repair Procedures - "Residual Pressure Release in Fuel Line")
  2. Remove the rear seat cushion (Refer to "SEAT" in group BD).
  3. Remove the fuel pump service cover (A).
  4. Disconnect the fuel pump control module connector (B).
  5. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor (FPS) connector (B).
  6. Disconnect the quick connector (C) from the fuel supply hose.
  7. Raise the vehicle and support the fuel tank with a jack.
  8. Disconnect the filler neck hose (A).
  9. Disconnect the vent pipe (B).
  10. Disconnect the quick connector from the level control hose (C).
  11. Remove the lower cover (A) by removing the nuts.
  12. Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle after removing the fuel tank band (A).

REMEDY

  1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order. Fuel tank strap mounting nut: 39.2 ~ 54 N·m
