This function is designed to prevent battery discharge.

The system automatically turns off the parking lights when the engine is switched off and the driver's door is opened (in that order).

With this function, the parking lights will automatically turn off if the driver parks at the roadside at night. If you need to keep the lights on when the key is removed (electronic key: engine off), perform the following:

1) Open the driver's door.

2) Turn the parking lights off and on again using the light switch on the steering column.
