Low-Aspect-Ratio Tires
Low-profile tires, with an aspect ratio of less than 50, are designed for a sporty appearance.
Because low-profile tires are optimized for handling and braking, they may ride harsher and produce more road noise compared with conventional tires.
CAUTION
Because the sidewall of a low-profile tire is shorter than that of a conventional tire, low-profile tires and wheels are more easily damaged. Therefore, follow the instructions below. When driving on rough roads or off-road, drive carefully because tires and wheels may be damaged. After driving, inspect the tires and wheels. When driving over a pothole, speed bump, manhole, or curb, move slowly to avoid damaging the tires and wheels. If a tire is damaged, we recommend having the tire and wheel condition checked or contacting an authorized HYUNDAI dealer. To avoid tire damage, check the tire condition and inflation pressure every 1,864 miles (3,000 km).
CAUTION
- Tire damage is not easy to recognize by sight. However, if there is the slightest sign of tire damage, have the tire inspected or replaced, because tire damage may cause air to leak from the tire.
- Damage to a tire caused by driving on rough roads, off-road, or over a pothole, manhole, or curb is not covered by the warranty.
