Around View Monitor Malfunction
If the Surround View Monitor does not operate normally, the screen flickers, or the camera image is not displayed, have the vehicle inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
Around View Monitor Limitations
- When your vehicle has been stopped for a long time in winter, or when your vehicle is parked in an enclosed parking area, exhaust gases may temporarily blur the image.
- The screen may not display the surround view correctly and an icon may appear in the upper left corner of the screen if:
- The tailgate is open.
- The driver or front passenger door is open.
- The side mirror is folded.
WARNING
- Always inspect your vehicle to make sure there are no objects or obstacles before driving.
- The distance displayed on the screen may differ from the actual distance.
- The Surround View Monitor is designed to be used on flat surfaces. When your vehicle is driven on roads with differing heights, such as curbs and speed bumps, the image on the screen may not appear correctly.
- Always keep the camera lenses clean. If a lens is blocked or covered, the Surround View Monitor may not operate normally. Do not clean with strong chemicals containing high alkaline or volatile organic solvents (gasoline, acetone, etc.).
