Do not install child restraints with a rigid lower attachment on the center seat. Only install this type of child restraint in an outboard seating position. Child restraints with a flexible strap attached to the lower anchorages may be installed in any rear seat position.

Always follow the child restraint manufacturer's instructions when installing your child restraint. Not all child restraints will be installed as described here.
