  1. If adjustable, lower the adjustable center head restraint to its lowest position.
  2. Route the tether strap over the seatback and head restraint.

  3. Attach the child restraint tether hook to the tether anchor. The tether anchor is located on the back of the seat.
  4. Remove the slack from the tether strap in accordance with the child restraint manufacturer's instructions.
