Air Conditioning Pressure Sensor Description and Operation

~1min read

Description

The air conditioning pressure sensor measures the high-side line pressure and converts it into a voltage signal. Based on the converted voltage value, the engine ECM controls the cooling fan, switching it to high or low speed. The engine ECM stops compressor operation when the refrigerant line temperature becomes abnormally high or low, in order to optimize the air conditioning system.
