Description
- The ambient temperature sensor is located at the front of the condenser and measures ambient air temperature. It is a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor; its resistance increases at lower temperatures and decreases at higher temperatures.
- The sensor output is used for discharge temperature control, temperature-adjusted door control, blower motor speed control, air mix mode control, and in-vehicle humidity control.
If the ambient temperature is below 0 °C, the air conditioning compressor will be stopped. The compressor will operate in manual mode.
