Inspection

  1. Press the OFF button more than 4 times within 2 seconds while holding down the MODE button.
    Display Description of Malfunction
    00 Normal
    23 Auto defog sensor OPEN
    24 Auto defog sensor SHORT
    43 Anti-Fog Door Potentiometer OPEN/SHORT
    44 Anti-Fog Door Potentiometer

    * The diagnostic procedure refers to the DTC.

Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the anti-fog sensor cover (A).
  3. Disconnect the connector and remove the auto defogger sensor (A).
  4. Installation is the reverse of removal.
