Low-Profile Tire
Low-profile tires, whose aspect ratio is below 50, are provided for a sporty appearance.
Because low-profile tires are optimized for handling and braking, the ride may be less comfortable and there may be more noise compared to conventional tires.
CAUTION
Because the sidewall of a low-profile tire is shorter than normal, the wheel and tire are more easily damaged. Therefore, follow the instructions below.
- When driving on rough roads or off-road, drive carefully as tires and wheels may be damaged. After driving, inspect the tires and wheels.
- When driving over a pothole, speed bump, manhole, or curb, drive slowly so that the tires and wheels are not damaged.
- If a tire is damaged, we recommend that you check the tire condition or contact an authorized Kia dealer.
- To avoid damaging the tire, check the tire condition and pressure every 1,900 miles (3,000 km).
• Tire damage is not easy to recognize visually. However, if there is the slightest sign of tire damage, even if you cannot see it, have the tire inspected or replaced, as tire damage may cause air to leak from the tire.
• Tire damage caused by driving on a rough road, off-road, a pothole, a manhole, or a curb is not covered by the warranty.
• You can find tire information on the sidewall of the tire.
