Always observe the following:

  • Check tire pressures when the tires are cold. (After the vehicle has been parked for at least three hours or driven no more than 1 mile (1.6 km) since starting.)
  • Check the spare tire pressure every time you check the pressure of the other tires.
  • Never overload your vehicle. Be careful not to overload the luggage compartment if your vehicle is equipped with one.

WARNING! Tire Inflation

Over-inflation or under-inflation can shorten tire life, adversely affect vehicle handling and lead to sudden tire failure. This may result in loss of vehicle control and possible injury.
