- Park your vehicle on the side of the road so that you can work with the TMK away from moving traffic. Place the warning triangle in a visible location to alert approaching vehicles to your location.
- To make sure your vehicle does not move, even when parked on fairly level ground, always apply the parking brake.
- Use the TMK only to seal/inflate passenger car tires. Do not use it on motorcycles, bicycles, or any other type of tire.
- Do not remove any foreign objects, such as nails or screws, that have penetrated the tire.
- Before using the TMK, read the safety precautions printed on the sealant bottle.
- If the vehicle is outdoors, keep the engine running. Otherwise, the compressor may eventually discharge the vehicle battery.
- Never leave the TMK unattended while it is operating.
- Do not operate the compressor for more than 10 minutes at a time, or it may overheat.
- Do not use the TMK if the ambient temperature is below -30°C (-22°F).
- If the tire and wheel are damaged, do not use the Tire Mobility Kit on your vehicle, as it may not be safe.
