The driver can disable the power window switches on the rear passenger doors by pressing the power window lock switch to the lock position (pressed in).
When the power window lock switch is pressed:
- The driver's master switch panel can operate all power windows.
- The front passenger switch panel can operate the front passenger's power window.
- The rear passenger switch panel cannot operate the rear passenger's power window.
CAUTION
- To avoid possible damage to the power window system, do not open or close two or more windows at the same time. This will also extend the life of the fuse.
- Never try to operate the driver's master switch and a separate window switch in opposite directions at the same time. If this is done, the window will stop and cannot be opened or closed.
WARNING - Windows
- NEVER leave the key in the vehicle with children unattended while the engine is running.
- NEVER leave children unattended in the vehicle. Even very young children may unintentionally cause the vehicle to move, become entangled in the windows, or otherwise injure themselves or others.
- Always check twice that all hands, fingers, head and other obstructions are clear before closing the window.
- Do not allow children to operate the power windows. Keep the driver's power window lock switch in the LOCK (depressed) position. Serious injury may result from a child inadvertently operating a window.
- Do not put your face or hands out of the window while driving.
