Vehicle Specifications

Power Windows

~1min read

The ignition switch must be in the ON position for the power windows to operate. Each door has a power window switch that controls the door window. The driver's door has a master window switch that controls all windows in the vehicle. In addition, the driver has a window lock switch that can disable operation of the rear passenger windows.

Power windows can operate for approximately 30 seconds after the ignition switch is turned off or set to ACC or LOCK. However, if either front door is opened, the power windows cannot be operated even within the 30 seconds.

✽ NOTICE

When driving with the rear windows lowered or the sunroof (if equipped) open (or partially open), the vehicle may exhibit wind buffeting or pulsating noise. This noise is normal and can be reduced or eliminated by taking the following actions. If the noise occurs with one or both rear windows down, lower both front windows approximately one inch. If you notice noise with the sunroof open, slightly reduce the sunroof opening.
