Repair Procedures

Inspection

  1. Apply battery voltage and check the blower motor rotation.

  2. If the blower motor does not operate properly, replace it with a known good blower motor and check operation.

  3. Replace the blower motor if it is determined to be the cause of the problem.

Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. Disconnect the blower motor connector (A).

  3. After loosening the mounting screws, remove the blower motor (A).

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
