Parking Brake Inspection

Check the parking brake travel by counting the number of "clicks" heard when fully applying it from the released position. Also, the parking brake alone must securely hold the vehicle on a sufficiently steep grade. If travel is more or less than specified, have the parking brake adjusted by an authorized Kia dealer.

Travel: 5 to 7 "clicks" at 20 kg, 196 N (44 lb) of force.
