Rear Liftgate Garnish Replacement

   Using a screwdriver or a clip remover, remove the upper trim (B).

   After removing the mounting screws, remove the side trim (C).

   Pull out the screw caps, then remove the screws, and then remove the handle (D).

   After loosening the mounting screws, remove the tailgate trim (A).

   Installation is the reverse of removal.

   Remove the liftgate garnish.

   Disconnect the rear door lock connector (A).

   After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the latch assembly (B).

   Tightening torque: 6.9~10.8 N·m

   Installation is the reverse of removal.

Liftgate Lock Replacement Liftgate Lift Replacement

1. 1
   Using a screwdriver (A), gently lift the socket retainer (B) at both ends of the lift support (D), then remove the lift support from the bracket (C).

   Insert the lift support socket into the bracket for installation.

Tailgate Panel Replacement

1. 1
   Remove the liftgate garnish.
2. 2
   Disconnect the license plate lamp connector and the rear view camera connector (A).

   Loosen the rear back panel mounting nuts (A).

   Using a screwdriver or a trim removal tool, remove the rear back panel (A).

   

5. 5
   Install in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Liftgate Weatherstrip Replacement

1. 1
   Remove the tailgate weatherstrip (A).

   

2. 2
   Install in the reverse order of removal.
