Description

The Air Conditioning Pressure Sensor (APT) measures the high-pressure line pressure and converts it into a voltage signal. The engine ECM converts the voltage value to control the cooling fan, operating it at high or low speed. The engine ECM stops compressor operation when the refrigerant line temperature is excessively high or abnormally low, to optimize the air conditioning system.
