Inspection

  1. Measure the high-pressure line pressure by measuring the output voltage between terminals No. 1 and No. 2.
  2. Check that the voltage value is within the specified range.

    Voltage = 0.00878835 * Pressure + 0.5 [PSIA]

  3. If the measured voltage value does not meet the specification, replace the A/C pressure sensor.

Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Recover the refrigerant using a recovery/recharging station.
    • If PAG oil is mixed with the system's POE oil, dielectric breakdown may occur due to reduced volume resistance, and the compressor may not operate.
  3. Disconnect the air conditioner pressure sensor connector (A).
  4. Remove the air conditioning pressure sensor (B). [Without Heat Pump]
    [With Heat Pump]
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
