Description

Electric compressors improve fuel efficiency and operate the air conditioner even when the engine is stopped.

Operating Principle

Compression Section: One scroll is fixed and the other orbits eccentrically without rotating on its own axis, thereby trapping and pumping refrigerant in the pockets between the scrolls.
Motor Section: Converts electrical energy into mechanical motion using a brushless DC motor.
Control Section: Converts DC to 3-phase AC and varies compressor speed to meet cooling demand.
