Replacement

  1. Discharge the refrigerant from the refrigerant system.
  2. Replace the faulty pipe or hose.
  3. Tighten the bolt or nut connection to the specified torque.
  4. Evacuate air from the A/C system and charge the system with refrigerant. Specified amount: Without Heat Pump: 550 ± 25 g (19.4 ± 0.88 oz); With Heat Pump: 900 ± 25 g (31.7 ± 0.88 oz)
  5. Check for refrigerant leaks. Using a gas leak detector, check for refrigerant leakage.
  6. Check the air conditioner operation.
